Balik Tanaw Program
The BALIK TANAW Program that was conceptualized and launched January of 2009 was a manifestation of gratitude for the unwavering support received from the Philippine National Police.
For last year, PSSLAI was able to assist 154 various units and offices of the PNP or a total of 6,44,334.31 Million worth of various items ranging from desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, hospital equipments, furniture and fixtures and other items as requested by our respective donees.
To be able to reach down to the grass root level of the smallest unit to the farthest area, PSSLAI allocated donation budget to the fifteen (15) Regional Field Offices (RFO) and has given them autonomy to assess and select PNP units and offices that needs assistance. Thru the marketing runs, Customer Service Officers at the RFOs were able to visit far-flung areas and at the same time evaluate the current needs of the PNP offices.
Moreover, PSSLAI&s focus is with the computerization program of the PNP. With this thrust, PSSLAI conceptualized the 3 years replacement program for all the computers turned over to the PNP, that is, after three (3) years, PSSLAI will replace all units with a new one to anticipate whatever changes in technology that may arise.
